The haunted house was designed to have at least three levels. The introductory brochure that they read earlier stated that the entire course would take around forty minutes, but that forty minutes probably didn’t take into consideration the time taken up by them just standing in one spot screaming their lungs out. No matter the case, Jiang Cheng was of the opinion that as they let out all sorts of screams that could scare away devils and ghosts alike, they have already gone through several rooms of flashing lights to darkly lit for almost twenty minutes, yet still they haven’t gone up a single flight of stairs.

What was having a xueba as a boyfriend like?

It was when you were both overflowed with passion, tenderness, and affection, he would all of a sudden want to work on a set of exam worksheets and you could only sit to the side and proctor for him. Even more exciting was if he was an ultra-xueba – when he entered a meditative state as he worked through those worksheets, he could bring even such a boring task as ‘working on worksheets’ to the peak of holiness.

SAYE – Chapter 57

Due to their extremely improper movie-watching behavior, the two of them had emptied all ten wet wipes from the small pack that the cinema gave them. They then repeatedly checked to confirm that there wasn’t anything on their clothes. After wiping their hands clean, the two found that this horror movie – in which screaming seemed to be playing throughout the entire film – was now completely beyond their understanding.

SAYE – Chapter 53

The time in which Class 2 called for the break was very suitable; the amount of time left before the end of the first half of the game was only three minutes. Not only did this interrupt Class 8’s stable rhythm1, but it also didn’t allow Class 8 to adjust back before the first half of the match ended. With the resting time, Class 8 may not be able to restore that spectacular rhythm.

Jiang Cheng glanced at the scoreboard – they were four points behind. That wasn’t too big of a difference, and if he must say, it was actually very easy to catch up to. But their opponent was Class 2, and no matter whether it was their overall skill level or their individual skill levels, they were all an entire league higher than Class 2. Thus, these four points seem to have become a bit unreachable.

SAYE – Chapter 52

Although it was Saturday, Jiang Cheng still woke up around the same time as usual. When he went downstairs to buy breakfast, he also jogged two laps along the nearby street in passing. 

The number of people around this area in the early morning was far more than at Li Baoguo’s. Besides the middle-aged uncles and aunties, there also wasn’t a lack of youngsters.
